Iāve always loved this piece. I bought a ceramic version to start with. The inside or interior is a beautiful glossy cobalt blue. The color swatches on the outside are muted somewhat & have a semi gloss finish. The enamel version which is the latest version has the blue interior, but itās matte in sheen. The color swatches on this one coin are vivid with a glossy finish on the outside. Quite stunning to me on the outside. I am not a huge fan of the inside matte finish. Iām hoping they can produce one with the enamel outside qualities & add the ceramic glossy interior, Iād buy another one, maybe two. I guess the short story here or cliff notes version is, combining the positives from both pieces and make a new one. All that said, I love both that I have and I will keep them. But again, if they decide to combine what I consider the positives into a new piece, Iād buy more of them. Thank you for this opportunity to sound off. The final note is just so everyone understands, the ceramic version is the original. The enamel version is the current production piece. I feel blessed to have one of each.
